The Studio

A game studio built like a transit network

Every project runs on its own route — clearly mapped, colour-coded, and connected. We plug design, engineering, and player analytics into one line so nothing gets stranded between platforms.

From Rose Street to release

Our 22-person team works out of a converted warehouse on Rose Street in Fitzroy, two minutes from Brunswick Street. Designers, Unity and Unreal engineers, and technical artists sit on one floor so builds move fast.

Live-ops that respect the player

Live-ops that respect the player

We instrument retention, session length, and conversion from day one, then tune content cadences without turning games into spreadsheets. Monetisation stays fair, and communities stay loyal.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. Roughly half our clients are interstate or overseas, and we run fully remote-friendly production. We keep daily hours overlapping with APAC and schedule reviews around your timezone, with occasional on-site sessions at our Fitzroy lab when it helps.

We build primarily in Unity and Unreal Engine 5, and we hold active pipelines for Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, iOS, Android, and web. If your title needs a specific SDK or first-party feature, we will confirm feasibility during the discovery call.

We start from retention and session data rather than aggressive monetisation. Content cadences, events, and economy changes are tested with real cohorts before rollout, so players get fresh reasons to return without feeling squeezed.

Prototype sprints run two weeks. Live-ops is an ongoing monthly retainer. Full game builds usually take four to fourteen months depending on scope and platform count. You will get a detailed route map with milestones after our first scoping session.
